When I first saw this book I was like: "oh no, this is going to be pretty similar to my fox girl story, I'm sure! :(". Fortunately enough, it wasn't :D, so I am happy that I can still work on it!. Can't believe it's been a year already since I started with this idea/project! Hopefully next year it will become a book!. Anyway, back to the main topic of this entry...
I am a sucker for Isabelle Arsenault illustrations, so when I saw the book in Waterstones I couldn't resist.

The book was written by Fanny Britt. I don't want to say to much about the story (don't want to ruin it for you, just in case you are planning on buying it) but let's say that it's a story about a girl who's going through a rough time and spends to much time in her head.
| This reminds me when my mom used to sew. Once she even made me a yukata. |
The book is really lovely. The way Isabelle Arsenault uses color (not depicted here because it's kinda part of the story, don't want to be responsible for any spoilers or anything like that!) is really clever. Also, her illustrations look so moody (in a good way) clean and nice yet effortless... I am so jealous! I really love her work. And the story is really sweet :)
Now a photo of me and Moomin, just because he wanted to say hi.
