Books, Japanese & Moominology

I've firmly decided that I need to make more time to do things that I enjoy, and one of those things is reading. Another thing that I really want to dedicate a bit more of time is to study Japanese; I took lessons when I was very young, and I was never fluent or anything, but I could speak and read very basic things so I would like to get back to it :)

One day that I was in the local library I found this little book. Isn't it awesome?! Hopefully, this will help me to kill two birds with one stone (horrible phrase) and catch up a little!

Parts of the book look like a manga , some others don't. 

I received this very very awesome book as a birthday present (oh yeah, it was my birthday last week!). So, this is a great stimuli to help me pursue my lifelong interest in Moominology.

P.S: Sorry about the plastic bags. Next time I'll go for paper!. Also, sorry about the homemade price labels, tried to make my handwriting look nice! (probably failed)

This comic strip is taking AGES. First, the layout changed a few times because I decided to add some  details. Then, I had to create/design my own font, which also took time. And I will have to make a few changes, because even though this is a personal project I don't know if this could be published one day, and since I've obviously included Moomin, and because he is not my creation, I think it's best to modify him somehow :(

I'll share a few pages. Feel free to comment/suggest anything! (I don't know why the first and third page look completely grey here, they are not grey in real life)
